We arrive early. We leave late.
From the morning preparations through to the evening, no hourly limit. The moments that matter do not keep a schedule. We are there for all of them.
We are two, with two simultaneous angles.
While one of us is at the altar, the other is in the aisle. While one follows the dance, the other captures the guests watching. What you would miss with a single photographer, we always see.
Fifteen minutes for the two of you, that is all we ask.
Near the end of the day, when the light is beautiful, we find a moment alone together. Not a photo session. A pause in your day. You walk, you talk, you forget we are there. That is where the portraits arrive.

Our background
Petrică spent fourteen years in press photojournalism, Mediafax Foto Agency, Adevărul, Forbes, Esquire România. The kind of work where you have one image to capture what is real, with no possibility of a second take. Cristina taught photojournalism at the Faculty of Journalism in Bucharest for years.
Reportage wedding photography is not a trend for us. It is the only way of working we know. We did not arrive here through weddings. We arrived through journalism.

What is reportage wedding photography?
Reportage wedding photography is an approach rooted in photojournalism: observe, anticipate, capture what happens without interrupting or directing. You live your day. We document it. The images you receive are those of your wedding as it actually happened, unprepared gestures, unplayed emotions, moments you did not even notice at the time.
What is the difference between reportage and traditional wedding photography?
A traditional photographer organises: they position guests, direct poses, construct the image. A reportage photographer waits for the image to exist. One creates memories of what you wished your wedding had been. The other preserves what it actually was. Both approaches are valid, but they produce very different results.
Do you take posed photos?
Very few. Fifteen to twenty minutes near the end of the day for a portrait of the two of you, that is all we ask. Everything else is pure reportage: we observe, we anticipate, we capture. No 'look this way', no 'smile'. Just your day as it happened.
Does reportage work for all types of wedding?
Yes. Civil or religious ceremony, intimate gathering or large reception, château or barn, local or destination, the reportage approach works everywhere because it adapts to what is happening, not to a pre-set plan. What varies is the story. The approach remains the same.
How many images do you deliver?
We do not set a quota. We deliver all the images that tell the story of the day, each one selected and individually edited. None are sold separately.
Are you available outside Vienne (86)?
Yes. We are based in Lencloître, Vienne (86), but we work throughout France and Europe. Loire Valley, Dordogne, Bordeaux, Brittany, La Rochelle, Alsace, and international destination weddings. Travel is included for weddings in Vienne and the Loire Valley.
