Loire Valley Wedding Photographers

Documentary, always the two of us. 16 years, 337 weddings, 232 international awards. Now based in the Loire Valley.

We live in Lencloître, in the Vienne. The Loire Valley is on our doorstep: Chinon is twenty minutes away, Amboise fifty, Tours forty. This is the territory we work in.

Over sixteen years, we have documented 337 weddings across Europe. Our approach has not changed: be invisible, observe, capture what happens without interrupting it. The châteaux of the Loire have a light and an architecture that speak to us. What interests us more is what happens inside.

Venues we work at

Château du Rivau, Lémeré

Fifteen themed gardens, intact medieval architecture, light that shifts hour by hour. Rivau is one of the most photographically rich venues in the Chinonais. Every corner tells something without any need for intervention.

Château de l'Islette, Azay-le-Rideau

This is where Rodin came to sculpt and Camille Claudel spent her summers. That history lives in the walls. L'Islette is intimate, human, without ostentation. For couples who want a day that runs deep rather than one that looks spectacular.

Château de Champchevrier, Cléré-les-Pins

Isolated in the forest between Tours and Angers, Champchevrier has the quality of silence that lets a day unfold at its own pace. The park, the moat, the seventeenth-century interiors: a place that resists being rushed.

Château de Jallanges, Vernou-sur-Brenne

Fifteen minutes from Tours, Jallanges is one of the best-known wedding venues in Touraine. Generous grounds, a pink brick facade that catches late afternoon light. Works equally well for a hundred guests or a more intimate gathering.

Château de la Grille, Chinon

A wine estate in the Chinon appellation, with vines running up to the walls. The wine, the vineyard, the late light over the Loire: for couples who want something rooted in the terroir rather than a postcard backdrop.

Domaine de la Ploquinière, Chinon forest

In the Chinon forest, a few kilometres from Lencloître. A quiet estate, a private property surrounded by trees, away from the noise. For couples who would rather their wedding look like them than like a Loire Valley postcard.

Abbaye de Fontevraud and the Saumurois

The royal UNESCO abbey where Eleanor of Aquitaine is buried. A venue unlike any other in the Loire Valley, with a quality of silence earned over eight centuries. The broader Saumur area, Château de Brézé and the Saumur-Champigny vineyards, offers a different register from the Chinonais.

We also photograph at other châteaux and estates in the Loire Valley on request, and cover intimate elopements throughout the region.

Our packages start at 3,190 €. This covers both photographers for the full day, from preparations through to the evening, and includes all edited images delivered via a private online gallery. No travel surcharge for Loire Valley weddings.

What is your style for château weddings?

Documentary. We observe, anticipate, and capture what happens without interrupting it. Loire Valley châteaux offer exceptional light and architecture, but what we are interested in is the day as it unfolds, not staging the facade.

Do you always work as a team of two?

Always. Cristina and Petrică cover every wedding together. That is not an add-on, it is how we have worked for sixteen years.

Do you speak English?

Yes, fluently. We work in French and English, which is useful for the international families that are common at Loire Valley destination weddings.
