The château
A hundred and fifteen hectare estate in the heart of the Sologne, its manor kept in the honest materials of the region, red floor tiles, exposed beams, open fires, with around twenty rooms sleeping the wedding party.
Why Le Chéreau suits the way we work
Le Chéreau is Sologne at its wildest: a hundred and fifteen hectares and five ponds, which for a documentary photographer is water, reflection and space with no edges. The manor interiors are warm and lived-in, red tiles and a great fireplace, the kind of room that holds candlelight beautifully.
It welcomes international couples in three languages and sleeps the party on site, so the wedding runs slow across a weekend rather than a single afternoon.

How we would photograph your day
We came to weddings from photojournalism. We observe, we anticipate, we capture what happens without interrupting it. No posing, no staging the facade, no asking anyone to do it again.
We always work as two. While one of us is at the ceremony, the other is watching the faces. That second pair of eyes is the difference between a record of the venue and a record of your day.

We are based in Lencloître, in the Vienne, and travel regularly across France and Europe. Château Le Chéreau is in the Loir-et-Cher; we quote travel there case by case, depending on distance and logistics, always transparently.
