Domaine de Mauprié is a wedding venue we would love to photograph, in Lusignan, between Poitiers and Niort, close to home in the Vienne. A converted barn beside a château, reached by a majestic avenue of linden trees. If you are marrying here, here is how we would work.
Why Mauprié suits the way we work
The arrival alone is a gift for a photographer: a grand gate, then the long avenue of lindens up to the house. Prestigious and champêtre at once, with a barn for the reception, a courtyard and open park lawns that give the day room to breathe.
It works for a large celebration of up to two hundred and eighty, or a more intimate gathering, and with around thirty-five people able to stay plus glamping, it becomes a weekend rather than an afternoon.

How we would photograph your day
We came to weddings from photojournalism. We observe, we anticipate, we capture what happens without interrupting it. No posing, no staging the facade, no asking anyone to do it again.
We always work as two. While one of us is at the ceremony, the other is watching the faces. That second pair of eyes is the difference between a record of the venue and a record of your day.
Getting there, and what it costs
Mauprié is under an hour away. We live in Lencloître, in the Vienne, and travel to weddings in the Vienne and the Loire Valley is included in our packages, with no surcharge.
Our packages start at 3,190 €, both photographers for the full day, all edited images included.
