Poitiers is our nearest city, half an hour south of home in the Vienne. If you are marrying in or around Poitiers, you have two documentary photographers living on your doorstep, and estates hidden in the countryside just outside town that most people never hear about.
The best weddings around Poitiers rarely happen in the city itself. They happen in the domaines and manors scattered through the Poitou countryside, ten or twenty minutes out, where a family can take a whole estate for the weekend. That is the territory we know best, because it is home.
The city has a fast link to Paris, an hour and a half by TGV, which makes it easy for guests travelling in. But the weddings themselves belong to the countryside around it, at estates like l'Écorcerie and Mauprié, ten or twenty minutes out, and that short, unhurried world is exactly where we work best.

How we work
We came to weddings from photojournalism. We observe, we anticipate, we capture what happens without interrupting it. No posing, no staging, no asking anyone to do it again.
We always work as two. While one of us is at the ceremony, the other is watching the faces. That second pair of eyes is the difference between a record of a place and a record of your day.
